Sensor System Consultants Ltd
Sensors for the print and packaging industry

The accuracy of your Shop Floor Data Collection system depends not just on accurate sensors but sensors that remain accurate and can be justly relied upon.

SSC designs specialist industrial sensors.
Sensors that are designed to be subjected to the extremes of dust, static, vibration, heat and poor maintenance yet holding their accuracy.

Linear measurement:

The Metrecount 1 measuring paper, cloth, foil or plastic materials. 4 million revolutions per day, maintaining it’s accuracy.

Detection:

The fast response Milljoin sensor detects splice and milljoin over a wide range of paper base weights, compensating for dust and ambient light fluctuations to give reliable milljoin and web break information.

Signal Interfacing:

A range of specialist interfaces that ensure the signals from the sensors reach your Data Collector correctly.

News:
Graph Expo Chicago:
Thanks to our USA partners for hosting the exhibition stand.
Plumtree Company, USA agents for QTMS Copycounter 3, Baumer Scatec and GNG Systems displays  were kept busy throughout the show, explaining and demonstrating the products on display.
The QTMS Copycounter 3 was attached by a simple two wire connection to the GNG System eight inch digit, high visibility production monitoring display to demonstrate accurate net speed, net count, running time and downtime. For more information on the production monitoring display click on GNG Systems displays.
Although the show was not as well attended as previous, fiscally stable years, the interest in the Plumtree stand was exceptional.
